Praises
  • Give thanks that we have finished 19 months’ learning at OMF’s language school.  Eventually we have only finished the formal phase and we will continue our life-long learning and growing of the language and culture.  So we participated a Send-Off Ceremony and we are ‘sent off’ to serve.
  • Give thanks for Momoco’s growth in faith.  Momoco is our neighbour.  While the deep Japanese culture is still a concern about her growth in faith, when we shared with her about Grandma Hui’s situation and asked her to pray for us, she promised so.
  • Give thanks for all the good and faithful teachers at Japanese Language and Culture Center for their “multiplying” work.

 

Prayers
  • Pray for this land - that one day it will not need missionaries anymore.
  • Pray for her and the two kids for the first time attending church on March 30th. Pray that we can continue to disciple them online.
  • Pray for our next two years of training at Tokyo Center Church. May we remain in Christ and be able to multiply believers and disciples.
  • Please also pray for:
    • Our move to Tokyo (April 1).
    • Searching for an apartment before heading back to Vancouver (Apr 1 - 10),
    • Time with our mothers in Vancouver and Edmonton (April 11 - May 5) and Back to Tokyo (May 7).
    • Lord willing, we will have an apartment and can move our belongings from Sapporo to Tokyo on May 8th.
