Family updates
- Children’s update
Ethan (Grade 5) is the occasional cook at home. He recently took part in an EcoSummit where he presented on creating an app that helps people recycle better (it's still a very novel idea here, recycling), and his team won an award for it.
Keira (Grade 9) is gearing up for a volleyball tournament in the region, and has been part of a volleyball club. She enjoys leading worship for the kids' service at church once a month with other teens.
Abby (graduating from high school next year) returned from a highly competitive music event where her chamber choir won in their category.
Kayla is in her second year of university . Being away from immediate family has been hard, and adjusting to the culture and making new friends demands strength and resolve. She will once again need to find a new place to live in the next two months, which is extra stress for her.
- L has been taking language classes three times a week online and studying as much as she can. She has also recently taken a step of faith to see if any job opportunities open up.
M has been meeting with his local friend who he would like to partner with, but his friend is not currently available to pursue the ideas they talked about. So for the time being, M continues to work as a consultant with his previous job until things open up for his local friend.

Even M’s local friend who has had personal issues and doesn't want to talk about spiritual matters, M keeps meeting him.
L’s is better. She meets weekly with her local friend, where they continue to pray, discuss the Word, read books and encourage each other. L is also praying for her personal trainer M to long for the Truth (M is athiest). They have spiritual discussions here and there.
Sakeena is actively being a living testimony to family/friends, but it is challenging. She longs for a husband, who is hard to find here.
