To Hug Again (after COVID)
Can you imagine that soon we’ll be able to hug again? It may be hard to imagine, and some may not even want to think about that!
In a way, COVID-19 traumatized us, similar to other traumatizing experiences such as accidents or prolonged illness. It changes us in some way and leaves its marks on us. Some who recovered from COVID have reported there are lingering symptoms, including a loss of smell or taste. In order to regain these senses, one has to retrain them to be able to enjoy them again!
Do you know how COVID has impacted you?
Just like the loss of taste and smell, the post COVID impact could render a sense of hopelessness, unmotivation, and powerlessness. If you recognize these effects on you, let’s journey together to “retrain” these senses by focusing on God.
I believe we are called to be “Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, Mission-focused”.
In the next few weeks, we’ll focus on different aspects of how this refreshes our soul.
