Activities:
1.Oil and water

- One 12 ounce clear plastic cup
- 1 foam or paper cup
- 2 inches of white vinegar in clear cup
- 1 tbsp of baking soda in the foam or paper cup
- 1 tbsp of cooking oil
Steps:
- The clear cup with the white vinegar represents you, the baking soda represents things that scare you, the oil represents Jesus

- How was this science experiment like the way Jesus clams our fears?
- What happens when we let Jesus deal with our fears?
- Why do you think Jesus doesn’t want us to be afraid?
2. Pop Goes the fear
- You will need balloons, one for each family member.
- Blow up balloons and write down your fears.
- Use a straight pin needle to pop the balloons and remember the pins are being like Jesus, He has the power to destroy our fears just as a pin can destroy the inflated balloon.
- As each balloon pops lets praise God for destroying our fears with His Word.
