Over the past forty-one years, God has established BAC as our spiritual family: a place where we worship, serve, grow and preach gospel together as a family in Christ. We have never stopped our Sunday Worship Service except a few times when we experienced extreme weather like heavy snowfall. As a child of God, we show our utmost reverence and adoration to God through worship.  One of the main purposes why God establishes a local church, is to let us worship Him as a body of Christ together. 

        However, because of the pandemic, over the past two years, our in-person worship services had been cancelled, leaving us no choice but stay at home to have online worship.  This is not the best way to worship from a church’s perspective. To worship with other brothers and sisters together is a totally different experience from watching online worship at home by ourselves.  As the pandemic situation was often unstable, we offered livestream service to accommodate the needs of the brothers and sisters who were not quite ready to come back to church in person, so that they could still continue to worship at home.  At present, the situation has changed. A great majority of the population have been fully vaccinated, and high-risk group of people have begun to take a forth booster dose, and even though we still might have a chance of getting infected by COVID, the risk of complications is a lot lower and the harm caused is less severe.  Therefore, after a discussion with lead pastors and the elder board, we are planning to cancel the livestream service, effective July 1.  We hope that by encouraging brothers and sisters to come back for in-person worship, we can build-up the in-person worship service which allowed us to be more focused on God, and be more joyful in enjoying the fellowship of worshipping together, as a family of Christ.   We will still continue to record of all Sunday services, so that for those brothers and sisters who are sick or have other concerns, they can still watch the recordings afterwards.            Ever since we have resumed the in-person worships from July last year, all the pastoral staff, worship teams, and the brothers and sisters responsible for audio and sound, have been faithfully coming back to church to prepare for Sunday Worship. We truly appreciate their faithful services, that enables us to join the worship, whether we are here in church, or at home. May God bless every serving brother and sister abundantly!   

            I sincerely hope that I can see every one of you, back at church to worship, serve, fellowship with one other, and enjoy a worship and church life that is full of abundant joy! 

            過去四十一年，神設立本宣家成為一個讓弟兄姊妹能夠一同敬拜，一同服事，一同成長，一同傳福音的屬靈大家庭。除了一些冬季因太大雪之外，這個屬靈的家從來不會停止敬拜。因為敬拜是屬神的人對神最重要的尊崇。而集體敬拜，也是神設立教會的一個重要目的。

         無奈，過去兩年多因新冠疫情，打斷了我們集體及實體的敬拜，令弟兄姊妹只能在家中作網上的敬拜。而對教會來說，這並不是最理想的敬拜方式。群體的敬拜，與個別在家中網上的敬拜，實在是有天淵之別。自去年七月開始，本宣家重啟實體崇拜。但因當時疫情的不穩定，與及疫苗仍未普及注射，而繼續同時進行網上直播崇拜，好讓一些仍未安心返回實體崇拜的弟兄姊妹，可以仍在家中敬拜，這是當時最合宜的做法。而隨著疫苗的普及注射，而高危人仕亦於近日開始注射第四針加強劑，以致雖然仍會有機會受到感染，但已沒有過去的嚴重症狀及殺傷性。故經領牧與及長議會商討後，都建議於七月一日開始，取消網上直播崇拜，盼望鼓勵本宣家的弟兄姊妹，可以早日回復過去更有質素，更能專心與及充滿喜樂的的群體與及實體敬拜。而與以往一樣，每一週三個語系的崇拜，仍然會錄影下來，好讓患病及有特別需要的弟兄姊妹，仍然可以收看本宣家每週崇拜的錄影。弟兄姊妹若有任何查詢，請與各領牧聯絡。

                自去年七月開始的實體崇拜，眾教牧同工們，敬拜小組，控制音響及處理網上直播的弟兄姊妹們，每週都是忠心地回到教會，預備每次的崇拜，好讓在教會參加實體崇拜，與及在家中參加網上敬拜的弟兄姊妹，都能夠毫無間斷地敬拜神，願神祝福你們每一位。

               實在期待可以早日在本宣家，再一次見到每一位弟兄姊妹，回復一同敬拜，一同事奉，互相關懷問安，滿有喜樂的敬拜與及教會生活。
