Love cookies
We believe everyone needs encouragement and recognition. That’s the reason why we want to use different ways to extend our sincere gratitude to our volunteers in the Children's Ministry.
Last year, we started a new attempt at making and giving love cookies to our volunteers. It was a great success packed with fun and joy. Lawras Chan, Colinda Chung, Carrie Yoong, Winnie Pang and Tracy Siu joined me to make hundreds of cookies for a fresh delivery before Christmas. The homemade cookies were packed in cute little bags before being handed out. Our helpers were so amazed and impressed by their great looks and scrumptiousness!!
This year, we want to continue the practice to cheer up our helpers. In order to make cookies for roughly 100 volunteers in the Children’s Ministry, I aim to recruit 10 brothers and sisters to participate in this “Love cookies" project. Because these cookies are a token of appreciation to our helpers, I will only recruit people who are outside the Children’s Ministry so that I won’t make any of our current helpers work more because of this project.
If you are not helping in the Children's Ministry but would like to give thanks to our helpers, who sacrifice their time to attend to our kids, please contact me: loran.tang@bacfamily.org. We will decide what types of cookies are made to provide a great assortment.
Our tentative plan:
If you are interested in this “Love cookies” project, please make yourself available to get cookies ready by Dec 12 or 13!!
It is a fun and meaningful way to express your gratitude. I look forward to making delicious cookies with you!
