Junior Worship song leader shares her passion to lead kids to praise God in worship

I have invited Mabel Law, our song leader in Junior Worship, to share her passion to lead kids to praise God in worship:

Worship the Lord with gladness;
   come before Him with joyful songs.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving
   and His courts with praise;
give thanks to Him and praise His name. – Psalm 100:2,4

There are many different ways to worship our great and awesome God, but hearts of joy, thankfulness, and praise are integral to genuine worship. We usually associate worship with music, but we can also worship Him through generosity, service, and how we live each day.

Having said that, music can be a powerful way for us to worship God. Music is a wonderful gift from Him. Not only does it allow us to express our honour and devotion to Him, but God can also use it to speak to us individually and touch our hearts when we need it the most.

Although I’m not a good singer nor can I play the guitar, God can still use me to lead the children in worship. It is such a joy and blessing to hear their voices, to see them reflecting on the words of the songs, to encourage them to worship Him with their all (heart, soul, mind and body), and to help prepare them for God’s message.

God is so worthy of our joyful praises from hearts of gratefulness. Would you consider joining us in encouraging this in the children at BAC by leading worship?
